The Science Department took all Year 10 students to the NEC in Birmingham to attend the Big Bang UK Young Scientists & Engineers Fair on Thursday 16 March 2017.

 

The Big Bang Fair is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for young people in the UK. The aim is to show young people the exciting and rewarding opportunities available if they have the right experience and qualifications. The Fair has an award-winning combination of exciting theatre shows, interactive workshops and exhibits, together with careers information provided by a wide range of people who are working in the field. The Fair, led by EngineeringUK, is made possible because of the efforts of almost 200 organisations working together to enable young people to see science, mathematics and engineering in a new light.
