Swimming Success
Year 9 student crowned County Champion in 5 events.
Jacob Carrington of Year 9 competed in the Nottinghamshire ASA County Championships and exceeded expected results. After qualifying to compete in 12 events, Jacob came away from the events as County Champion in the following:
100m Freestyle/200m Freestyle/50m Butterfly
50m Backstroke and 100m Backstroke
He also won Silver medals in:
200m Backstroke/100m IM/100m Butterfly
Jacob has now qualified in 8 events for the Midland Championships in May and will hopefully qualify to compete at the national championships in August.
