Year 13 welcomed the Too Fast Too Soon road safety team into school on Monday.
The year group were entertained with an excellent recreation of a genuine court case, detailing a tragic loss of life on Lincolnshire’s roads. 12 willing volunteers were sworn into the jury and had the difficult decision to pass judgement on the very apologetic defendant. A unanimous verdict of guilty was returned which underlined to all students that one lapse in concentration behind the wheel of a car can have tragic and long lasting effects for all involved.
