School Business Leader
Lincolnshire County Council GLEA payscale - Grade 11 (Full time pay £42,503 to £47,573 p.a.)
The King’s School is an incredibly successful and highly regarded school. We are looking to appoint a School Business Leader as the school’s leading support staff professional who will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to assist the Head Master in his duty to ensure that the school meets its educational aims.
The successful applicant would be expected to provide professional leadership and management of the school’s support staff in partnership with teaching staff, to enhance their effectiveness to attain improved standards of learning and achievement in the Academy.
The School Business Leader promotes the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of all resources in support of the school’s learning objectives. The role holds responsibilities including Financial Resource Leadership, Administration Leadership and Health & Safety Leadership of the Academy Trust.
The post holder must be a lateral thinker, innovative and proactive in finding extra funding for the school and have the perseverance to investigate and promote alternative strategies through to implementation, in liaison with the Head and the Governors, to the advantage of the school.
Applications for year round or term time plus contracts will be considered dependent on experience, to include 37 hours per week during term time. Please indicate your preference on the application form.
Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and as this post is considered to be ‘regulated activity’, a check through the Disclosure and Barring Service including the children’s barred list.
Successful applicants must be familiar with, and comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, child protection and promote the welfare of students.
